  This bakery has a small town vibe. The staff is so friendly, and they even serve delicious soups, breakfast sandwiches, and pot pies. The coffee is delicious. Everything I have tried here is great.

  We've already attempted to address this with the business and were completely unsatisfied so I feel compelled to make sure no one else ever has to go through this. A wedding cake was purchased for a wedding this past weekend. Upon arrival at the venue the decorator had to re-pipe several of the flowers because they fell off (first red flag - we have pictures of her in the truck "repairing" it). After sitting at the venue the flowers just started to fall off. It was not hot, there were no children present, and no one jarred or moved the cake. The guests attempted to fix it but they just kept falling off. It was the front of the cake. Needless-to-say it was not photo ready and they had to do a lot of twisting and turning to not get the ruined cake in the pictures. Cut to my mother contacting the bakery. After the owner contacted the decorator to find out what happened they informed my mother that they would refund her for the flowers that fell off. Sorry, what? The WEDDING CAKE was ruined. It is a fairly significant part in the reception and it was literally falling apart and you want to give her $30 for some flowers that fell off. Not only is this the best they could do but the offer was left in a voicemail which was accusatory and implied that since this has never happened to any of their other cakes (they haven't been in business long and won't be for much longer if this is how they handle customer complaints) and they couldn't imagine how this could have happened this is all they were willing to do. DO NOT USE THIS BAKERY THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK AND YOUR CAKE MIGHT BE RUINED ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY!

  I am typically not one to comment about or write a review in reference to a bakery experience, but, this place is AMAZING! They have, what I'd consider, the BEST DANISH in South Jersey...actually, I'd go as far as to say they have the best danish that I personally ever tasted. In addition, while I was there I elected to purchase the QUICHE....and again, I was absolutely blown away. The eggs were light, fluffy and creamy all while the ham and asparagus was beyond delicious. We also got the BACON and CHEESE QUICHE....and again.....they hit the bullseye! I could go on and on describing my overall experience, but I think everyone got the idea.....SUMMIT BAKERY GOT MY ATTENTION, I'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
